dc.descriptionIt is shown that the longitudinal double spin asymmetry $A_{ll}$ in polarized diffractive $Q \bar Q$ production depends strongly on the spin structure of the quark-pomeron vertex. Relevant experiments will be possible at HERA with a polarized proton beam.
