Abstract

Description

CP violating signals in semileptonic $τ$ decays induced by an exotic scalar exchange are studied in a completely model-independent way. These can be observed in decays of unpolarized single $τ$'s even if their rest frame cannot be reconstructed. No beam polarization is required. The importance of the two-meson channel, in particular the $Kπ$ final state is emphasized.
