| dc.description | It is well known that, for pressureless matter, Newtonian and relativistic cosmologies are equivalent. We show that this equivalence breaks down in the quantum level. In addition, we find some cases for which quantum Newtonian cosmology can be related to quantum cosmology in (2+1) dimensions. Two exact solutions for the wave function of the Newtonian universe are also obtained. | |
