| dc.description | We apply effective field theory and renormalization group techniques to the problem of Cooper pair formation in neutron stars. Simple analytical expressions for the $^1 S_0$ condensate are derived which are free of nuclear potential model dependencies. The condensate is evaluated using phase shift data from neutron-neutron scattering. | |
