dc.descriptionWe describe a thought experiment using an isolated system of known parameters and assuming the correctness of Clausius and Boltzmann descriptions of entropy. The experiment produced an astronomical increase in the number of possible ways the system can be arranged and inescapably in achieving this, an increase in the compartment volume of the system. The result may possibly be of significance to cosmology.
