dc.descriptionThis paper offers a new technique of incoherent scattering signal processing. The technique is based on the experimentally observed comb structure of the spectral power of separate realizations. The technique implies determining the positions and amplitudes of peaks in separate realizations, the formation - on their basis - of the spectral power of an individual realization not distorted by the smoothing function, and a subsequent summation of such spectra for the realizations. The technique has been tested using data from the Irkutsk incoherent scatter radar, both for the case of the incoherent scattering from thermal irregularities of plasma and for the case of the aspect scattering from instabilities elongated with the geomagnetic field.
