dc.descriptionWe analyze the Hermite polynomials $H_{n}(ξ)$ and their zeros asymptotically as $n\to\infty,$ using the limit relation between the Charlier and Hermite polynomials. Our formulas involve some special functions and they yield very accurate approximations.
