dc.descriptionMultiple permanent-wave trains in nonlinear systems are constructed by the asymptotic tail-matching method. Under some general assumptions, simple criteria for the construction are presented. Applications to fourth-order systems and coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations are discussed.
