dc.descriptionAn analogue of Kolmogorov's superconvergent perturbation theory in classical mechanics is constructed for self adjoint operators. It is different from the usual Rayleigh--Schrödinger perturbation theory and yields expansions for eigenvalues and eigenvectors in terms of functions of the perturbation parameter.
