dc.descriptionWe consider spontaneous magnetic flux in a doubly connected s-wave/normal metal/ d-wave superconductor (SND) Josephson junction. The flux magnitude is not quantized and is determined by the parameters of the system. In an isolated system, quantum fluctuations of the superconducting phase take place, leading to quantum flux noise. The possibilities of experimental observation of the effect are discussed.
