dc.descriptionQuadratic Lagrangians are introduced adding surface terms to a free particle Lagrangian. Geodesic equations are used in the context of the Hamilton-Jacobi formulation of constrained sysytem. Manifold structure induced by the quadratic Lagrangian is investigated.
