This is a review of selected work on the one- and multi-dimensional random Burgers equation (burgulence) with emphasis on questions generally asked for incompressible Navier--Stokes turbulence, such as the law of decay of the energy and the pdf of velocity gradients. Most of the material is devoted to decaying (unforced) burgulence. For more details see the Table of Contents.
