dc.descriptionIt is the purpose of this manuscript to place an illustrative demonstration on the measurement of damped electromagnetic oscillations for a RLC circuit that it is easy to set in any physics laboratory equipped with PASCO technologies and USB Electrical PASPort sensors together with standard electrical components. The results of recording the electrical voltage with DATA Studio software have a very good agreement with performed simulations from MULTISIM software and/or standard calculations from theory. Our students and instructors enjoy of the experiment for their simplicity set up in addition to the instructive oscillations.
