dc.descriptionMethods of enhanced laser cooling of particle beams in storage rings and Robinson's damping criterion are discussed. The dynamics of amplitudes of betatron oscillations and instantaneous orbits of electrons interacting with laser beams being displaced in the radial direction is investigated.
