| dc.description | It has been recently suggested by others that one can simultaneously explain the depletions of solar electron-neutrinos and atmospheric muon-neutrinos along with a 7 eV neutrino component of mixed dark matter by postulating the existence of nearly-degenerate 2 eV neutrinos with the correct mixing parameters. We study this claim in the framework of a simple SO(10)-symmetric model constructed from the low scale data using a bottom-up procedure recently advanced by the authors and compare the results with and without degenerate neutrinos. | |
