dc.descriptionElectroweak baryon number violation may play a crucial role for the creation of the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the early universe. In this talk, we review the basic mechanism, which relies on the behavior of chiral fermions in nontrivial Yang-Mills gauge field backgrounds.
