dc.descriptionWe here investigate the possibility that the ultra-high energy cosmic ray (UHECR) events observed above the GZK limit are mostly protons accelerated in econnection sites just above the magnetosphere of newborn millisecond pulsars which are originated by accretion induced collapse (AIC).
