dc.descriptionIn brane-worlds, our universe is assumed to be a submanifold, or brane, embedded in a higher-dimensional bulk spacetime. Focusing on scenarios with a curved five-dimensional bulk spacetime, I discuss their gravitational and cosmological properties.
