dc.descriptionStatic horizonless solutions to the Einstein--Maxwell field equations, with only a circular cosmic string singularity, are extended to exact rotating asymptotically flat solutions. The possible interpretation of these field configurations as spinning elementary particles or as macroscopic rotating cosmic rings is discussed.
