| dc.description | The nonlinear dynamics of thermal and electromagnetic perturbations in the vortex state of type II superconductors is analyzed with account of dissipation and dispersion effects. A theoretical analysis shows that nonlinear thermal and electromagnetic dissipative waves (structures) may be formed under certain conditions on the sample surface. The structures possess a finite-amplitude and propagate at a constant velocity. The possibility of experimental observation of thermomagnetic shock waves is briefly discussed. | |
