dc.descriptionIn this paper the possibility of the excitation of collective nuclear motion with attosecond laser pulses is investigated. Following our earlier results (Lasers in Engineering 11 (2001) p. 259) the hyperbolic heat transport for nuclear matter is formulated and solved. It is shown that in the vicinity of the 30 MeV excitation energy the recollided electrons can excite the giant collective motions - thermal wave inside the nuclei.
