| dc.description | Cylindrically symmetric stationary spacetimes are examined in the framework of string-inpired generalized theory of gravity. In four dimensions this theory contains a dilatonic scalar field in addition to gravity. A charged perfect fluid representing fermionic matter is also considered. Explicit solution is given and a discussion of the geometrical properties of the solutions found is carried out. | |
