dc.descriptionWe examine the effects of hole-phonon interaction on the formation of hole pairs in the 2D Holstein t--J model. Using finite-lattice diagonalization techniques, we present exact results for the two-hole binding energy and the s-- and d-wave pairing susceptibilities.
