Holomorphic removability is of importance in dynanical systems theory. P.W.Jones found that Sobolev removability can serve as a substitute. He proved a strong strong result for Hölder domains. The present work gives some results on the this and related matters.
A 1993 idea of the author. Problem left to student. Wannebo and P.Jones later worked with this idea in parallell.Result Jones' and Smirnov's paper 1999 and the above results 1996. (Warning: Non locally bounded variation not treated.)
