| dc.description | In our paper Phys. Rev. Lett. 92, 151801 (2004), the oscillations of strongly deformed Bogomolny-Prasad-Sommerfield magnetic monopoles have been studied on a fixed Minkowski background. The purpose of the present article is to provide a more detailed account on the results yielded by our numerical simulations. In particular, an analysis on the dependence on the strength of the initial excitation is carried out in order to distinguish features which are already present for small perturbations from those which are consequences of the nonlinearity of the system. | |
