| dc.description | Numerical evidence for a cosmological version of the Bartnik-McKinnon family of particle-like solutions of the Einstein-Yang-Mills system is presented. Our solutions are also static, but space has the topology of a three-sphere. By adjusting the cosmological constant we found numerically a spherically symmetric solution which can be regarded as an excitation of the unique SO(4)-invariant solution. We expect that for each node number there exists such a solution without a cosmological horizon. | |
