dc.descriptionThe Main Injector is a new rapid cycling accelerator at Fermilab which is a source of protons to be used in antiproton production to enhance the luminosity of the Tevatron Collider and to provide extracted beams for use in a range of fixed target experiments. We discuss the current status of the accelerator and the physics which it enables. The physics ranges broadly over the standard model and beyond, from the search for neutrino mass to collider physics at the highest energy available today.
