| dc.description | The mixing of the Standard Model Higgs boson with a ttbar scalar bound state (arising from a new stronger-than-QCD interaction) can enhance the Higgs boson's coupling to two gluons. It is possible that the two-gluon decay mode of a light Higgs boson may even dominate. This alters the Higgs boson search strategy at Tevatron Run 2 in a significant way. We present a simple model in which such a scenario may be realized. The modifications to the Higgs search signal, as well as further experimental tests of this scenario are also discussed. | |
