| dc.description | Oscillation modes of rapidly rotating stars have not yet been calculated with precision, rotational effects being generally approximated by perturbation methods. We are developing a numerical method able to account for the deformation of the star by the centrifugal force and, as a first step, we determined the acoustic modes of a uniform density spheroid and studied how the spheroid flatness affects these modes. | |
