dc.descriptionWe describe Brute, a code for generating synthetic spectra from 3D supernova models. It is based on a Monte Carlo implementation of the Sobolev approximation. The current version is highly parameterized, but in the future it will be extended for full NLTE spectrum modelling of supernovae.
