| dc.description | A recently developed statistical coalescence model of the J/psi production is presented. The NA50 data on the J/psi suppression pattern and the transverse mass spectra in Pb+Pb collisions at the SPS are analyzed. The model predictions for the RHIC energies are formulated. The measurements of J/psi in Au+Au collisions at RHIC are crucial for disentangling the different scenarios of charmonia formation. | |
