| dc.description | It is shown that the effective inertial mass density of a dissipative fluid just after leaving the equilibrium, on a time scale of the order of relaxation time, reduces by a factor which depends on dissipative variables. Prospective applications of this result to cosmological and astrophysical scenarios are discussed. | |
