| dc.description | Recently, it has been demonstrated that radion mediated supersymmetry breaking gives the same spectrum as Scherk-Schwarz supersymmetry breaking, and can be interpreted as a dynamical realization of it. We make this connection explicit by exhibiting the direct transformation from one theory to the other. We then use the extreme UV softness of Scherk-Schwarz theories to calculate the one-loop soft masses of matter fields. We do not find any cutoff sensitive ``Kaluza-Klein mediated'' contributions. | |
