dc.descriptionDiffuse background of high energy neutrinos arising from interactions of cosmic ray protons with far infrared radiation background in extragalactic space is calculated. It is assumed that cosmic ray spectrum at superhigh energies has extragalactic origin and is proton dominated.The cosmological evolution of extragalactic sources of cosmic ray protons as well as infrared-luminous galaxies is taken into account in the calculation.
