| dc.description | GAIA data will create a precise 3-dimensional map of the Galaxy, providing positional information, radial velocities, luminosity, temperature and chemical composition of a representative sample of stars. Here we present a new implementation of the Padova Galaxy Model, where kinematics simulations are included. A few examples of application to GAIA science are discussed, in particular concerning radial velocities determinations of the thin and thick disk. | |
