| dc.description | We consider general five-dimensional gauge theories compactified on on an orbifold S1/Z2 with all fields propagating in the bulk. We propose a generalized set of boundary conditions and derive the general features of the low energy-spectrum. The results are illustrated with two simple examples. | |
