dc.descriptionHigh-energy and radio emission mechanisms for pulsars are reviewed. The source region for high energy emission remains uncertain. Two preferred radio emission mechanism are identified. Some difficulties may be resolved by appealing to nonstationary pair creation distributed widely in height.
