dc.descriptionWe discuss heat transport in hole-doped manganites, nickelates and cuprates for which real-space charge ordering has been observed. We survey the thermal transport response to charge order in the various materials and the associated structural modifications, particularly distortions of the metal-oxygen polyhedra associated with localized charge, that may be a principal source of phonon damping.
