dc.descriptionBased on the standard statistical interpretation of mixed quantum states, a unique family of consistent histories has been constructed for the quantum Brownian motion in the Caldeira-Leggett reservoir. Analytic solutions have been shown in the Markovian regime: they are uniquely defined coherent wave packets travelling near classical trajectories.
