| dc.description | In this note I briefly discuss ideas related to the so-called fourth-root trick. A decomposition of the ``rooted'' fermion effective action into Wilson fermions and a nonlocal, lattice spacing suppressed functional is presented, complete with link interactions. Some proposals are given for analytical, nonperturbative studies of the fourth-root trick. | |
