dc.descriptionThis article explores the constraints of perception and cognition in relativistic physics. Describing reality as a cognitive representation of our sensory inputs, the article shows how the limitations in perception translate to the properties of space and time in physics. This framework of looking at the visual reality as our brain's representation limited by the speed of light unifies and explains a wide array of seemingly unrelated astrophysical and cosmological phenomena. Understanding the constraints on our space and time due to the limitations in perception and cognitive representation opens the possibility of understanding astrophysics and cosmology from a whole new viewpoint.
