2026-07-072026-07-07http://salesiana.dossiersoluciones.com/handle/123456789/12425A lot of evidence has recently accumulated that physical characteristics of CP stars (delta m_1, Ca/Fe ratio, Li abundance, distribution of orbital periods, vsini, Delta (V1-G), magnetic field) depend on orbital period or eccentricity. Consequently, the "tidal mixing + stabilization" hypothesis has been formulated to account for such features and the "binarity x magnetism" hypothesis of Abt & Snowden (1973) was reanalyzed.
